Attorneys representing The Department of Health, the winning applicants, and other patient advocate groups shared the 15 minute argument time in a hearing before a panel of seven Commonwealth Court judges in Pittsburgh to persuade the en banc court that ReLeaf’s requested remedy would put at risk the 15,000 patients awaiting medicine.  Cannabis Law PA, representing the patient advocacy groups, put one of its foremost attorneys and Pennsylvania Appellate Advocate co-founder, Dennis Whitaker, up to argue on behalf of patients.  Mr. Whitaker made an impassioned plea arguing that “the remedy ReLeaf seeks is absolutely antithetical to the patients interests.”

The Commonwealth Court argument will air on PCN on February 15, 2018 at 7:30 P.M.
